VIDEO: Donor Behind Jaguar Exhibit Has Local Ties

William Fries II wanted to share his love of exotic animals with Coachella Valley residents.

The Living Desert welcomed its newest feline this week -- a 15-month-old jaguar named .

The jaguar's 2,500-square-foot home was constructed on time and well under budget, according to Stacey Johnson, CEO of the Living Desert.

The donor behind the project, William Fries II, an actor and philanthropist, came down from San Francisco for the unveiling.
