The original Obamacare lie.

Obama went dramatic during a socialized medicine-themed press conference way back in late July 2009 (covered here on 8/1/09). "This isn't about ME ... I have great health insurance, and so does every member of Congress. This is about every family, every business and every taxpayer who continues to shoulder the burden of a problem that Washington has failed to solve for decades."

The next day Sen. Chris Dodd held a press conference to disclose his personal prostate cancer diagnosis and his plan to undergo surgery at one of the world's foremost cancer treatment hospitals, Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York City.  
In the process, Dodd took the opportunity to shill for Obamacare by echoing Barack's gratitude for the wonderful health care benefits government officials receive. "But it's not about ME," he parroted as he went on to paint a utopian picture of the similar manner in which the rest of us will be treated once socialized medicine becomes reality . . .
