Betty Ford Heads To Grand Rapids For Burial
The former first lady will be laid to rest next to her husband, former President Gerald Ford, in Michigan.
A casket holding former first lady Betty Ford was set to start its journey to her final resting place made in Grand Rapids early Wednesday.
Ford is expected to be taken to the Palm Springs International Airport Wednesday, July 13 from , where .
A second service is set for Thursday, and Ford will be buried next to her husband, former President Gerald Ford, at his Presidential Library.

Ford died Friday at the age of 93 in Rancho Mirage.
She will be flown to Michigan in a C-32, which is a military version of the Boeing 757-200 extended range aircraft. The plane is set to land at 5 p.m. Wednesday at the Gerald R. Ford International Airport in Grand Rapids.
