Chance of Rain Lingers This Weekend

Temperatures will remain in the mid-60s over the weekend.

Up to a tenth of an inch of rain could fall in the Palm Desert area on Friday afternoon, according to the National Weather Service.

The weather service issued a hazardous weather outlook at 11 a.m. Friday for the Coachella Valley and Riverside County mountains, where a high wind warning was issued through 1 p.m.

The snow level dropped to 4,000 feet Friday, with up to an inch possible, the NWS reported.

The weather won't dry up until Sunday. There is a 30 percent chance of showers on Saturday.

This weekends highs will be in the mid-60s with overnight lows in the 40s.
