Continuance Granted in Rangel Bank Robbery Case

After being found incompetent to stand trial, Bertha Rangel's placement hearing is pushed back to later this month.

A continuance was issued on the placement hearing for a woman deemed incompetent to face trial for earlier this year. 

Bertha Rangel was delcared not competent to stand trial last month for her part in the robbery of a USBank branch at Highway 111 and Monterey in January.

The continuance order was issued today by Riverside Superior Court Judge William. J Lebov. 

The placement hearing has been rescheduled to April 20th at the Larson Justice Center.  Rangel remains in custody at Indio jail.
