Desert Oasis Healthcare Offers Flu Vaccines

Those who could infect young infants were encouraged to get vaccinated.

Desert Oasis Healthcare is offering vaccines to protect locals against three influenza viruses.

The vaccines, which are meant to help prevent the influenza B virus, and H1N1 and H3N2, are available at DOHC clinics across the Coachella Valley, according to the company.

Those who could infect young infants were encouraged to get vaccinated, as well as pregnant women, health care and emergency medical services personnel, people between the ages 6 months and 24 years of age and anyone over 25 who has a chronic health problem.
