Friday is nearly upon us and it’s time to make plans for those precious weekend hours. Entertainment abounds this weekend; check our picks for fun activities to hit and places to explore.

Why Go: Over 30 vendors will be on hand dispensing the best craft beer and culinary treats. Plus, there will be live blues bands and meeting Living Desert animals up close.

Why Go: This is the last weekend for this crazy fun carnival and if you haven’t been yet, you won’t want to miss it. There really aren’t just dates at this festival. There are Ferris wheels, deep fried Oreos, Third Eye Blind and Kellie Pickler too.
