No Flyover Zone Set Over Palm Desert
The restriction is in place during the memorial service for former first lady Betty Ford.
A no flyover zone will be in place over in Palm Desert Tuesday during the funeral of former first lady Betty Ford.
The zone will extend in a two-mile radius and reach up to 2,000 feet from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.
Several dignitaries are expected to attend, including First Lady Michelle Obama and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton.
