UPDATE: Lane Closed on Northbound Highway 62
CHP says the left northbound lane is closed, slowing access to Yucca Valley and 29 Palms until after 2:00 p.m.
The California Highway Patrol is the left lane of northbound Highway 62 is closed from North Indian Canyon Drive to the San Bernardino County line until 2:00 p.m. today.
The closure is due to road repair work by Caltrans.
More work is planned for Wednesday, with the right lanes both north and southbound closed between 7:30 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. to complete the road work.
