Road work to delay Cook Street traffic

A street resurfacing project is set to begin August 1 and continue through August 29 on Cook Street between Fred Waring Drive and Merle Drive.

A street resurfacing project is expected to delay traffic on Cook Street over the next month.

Lanes, both north and southbound, will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Aug. 1-29, according to city spokesman David Hermann.

Most of the resurfacing is expected to take place between Aug. 8-19, Hermann said.
