Thunderstorm Brings A Few Showers

Today's high was expected to be 92 degrees with an overnight low of 62 degrees.

A thunderstorm brought some showers to the Palm Desert area Monday.

The showers were expected to last through 5 p.m. Monday in the Coachella Valley, Riverside County mountains, San Diego County mountains and deserts and San Bernardino County mountains, according to the National Weather Service.

The storm could also produce some lightning and gusty winds, the weather service reported.
