Thunderstorms In Forecast

Large clouds loomed over the Palm Desert area Tuesday as temperatures hovered over the century mark.

Forecasters warned of the possibility of isolated thunderstorms capable of producing flash floods in the Coachella Valley Tuesday.

Tuesday's high was 104 degrees with an overnight low of 81 expected, according to the National Weather Service.

The humidity was 14 percent, the weather service reported.
