U.S. Navy Band To Perform Free Concert Tonight
The 6:30 p.m. concert at Palm Desert's Civic Center Park is free and open to the public.
Palm Desert will honor the sacrifices of those who have served in the military with a free concert by the United States Navy Band Commodores Jazz Ensemble tonight.
The event, which is part of the city's Veterans Day celebration, is set for 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8 at Civic Center Park, according to city spokesman David Hermann.
Attendees are invited to bring blankets and portable chairs to the amphitheater to enjoy the programs in comfort. Alcoholic beverages and smoking are prohibited, Hermann said.
