Wind Gusts Up To 40 MPH Expected Tonight
The National Weather Service warned that windy conditions could persist through the night.
The Palm Desert area could see wind gusts up to 40 mph tonight, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather alert was sent out just before 4 p.m. to the Coachella Valley and much of Southwest California, the weather service reported.
The winds will gradually decrease overnight and into Tuesday morning, according to the NWS.
