17th Annual Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade

The City of Palm Springs proudly presents the 17th annual Palm Springs Veterans Day Parade on Monday, November 11 at
3:30 p.m. in downtown Palm
Springs.  The parade begins at Ramon Road and
Palm Canyon
Drive and heads northbound on Palm Canyon Drive to
Alejo
Road.  Our event features a well regarded parade
comprised of approximately 54 units, followed by a post parade concert and
fireworks finale at the intersection of Amado Road and Palm Canyon
Drive.

This parade is one of the
largest in Southern California and is supported
by military units, marching bands, veterans’ organizations and much more. The
City of Palm
Springs is a designated Regional site for the observance
of Veterans Day by the Department of Veterans Affairs Veterans Day National
Committee.

Once again this year, the parade
will carry the Veteran's Administration theme of "Honoring All Who Served" as we
pay tribute to those who have protected our freedoms and proudly worn the
uniform of the United
States Armed Forces. We have been privileged
to have units from the Tuskegee Airmen, the Pearl
Harbor Survivors, Jewish War Veterans, Buffalo
Soldiers, and the Korean and Vietnam Veterans organization join us
in our parades over the last seventeen years.  The City of Palm Springs respects,
honors and appreciates all of the sacrifices that those who have served, and
their families, have made for our country.
