1st Annual Pet HOWL-O-WEEN Costume Contest

The Furry Angel Foundation, a non-profit that rescues dogs that are abandoned and/or on death row, is having the 1st Annual Pet HOWL-O-WEEN Costume Contest in association with a pet store called Cold Nose Warm Heart on October 26th, 2013 at 77-920 Country Club Drive Suite 6-8, Palm Desert, CA. All proceeds benefiting the Furry Angel Foundation. There is a small donation to enter the pet costume contest. Each pet will receive a small ball toy for his/her participation. The contest starts at 12 noon. There will be vendors, 50/50 Raffle ($1.00 per ticket.) Raffles items include...Pet Massage, gift basket, haircut and color services for pet owner, and silent auctions that will have a minimum starting amount due to them being high priced items. There are free, same day pet food samples. Refreshments for all!!! Face painting for kids will be available for $1.00. And much more! There will be beautiful Furry Angel dogs available for adoptions. The pet store Cold Nose Warm Heart is offering $5.00 nail trim. For the best costume winners, there will be awarded plaques for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place finishers in best costumes. Additionally, there will be snacks and cookies for sale all to benefit the Furry Angel Foundation. Portraits offered by Karen Buxbaum Photography - For a donation to the Furry Angel Foundation, have your Furry Angel picture taken with or without costume. You will have a Photoshop finished portrait sent via email, then you download the file for your own usage. You can use the high resolution download portrait to make prints, send to friends, or to use to make your own Christmas card in the future. The Foundations Chief Veterinarian will be on site to meet and greet all those attending. We are a fast growing dog rescue foundation and in just below two years we have rescued and saved over 170 plus animals in that short time that includes all the treatment and required surgeries to save their lives. Thanks to the Foundation Board Members, Medical Director, Team Members, and Volunteers.
