Melissa Morgan Fine Art cordially invites you to a Reception and Exhibition on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 5:00 to 8:30pm featuring paintings by Ashley Collins, along with hand-blown glass and bronze sculptures by Joseph McDonnell as well as Carrera marble bronze sculptures by Richard Erdman.

Ashley Collins recently returned to her home base of California after a very successful tour of international shows. We are excited to be debuting newest body of work. This latest series is a nod to Collins roots, using a new combination of acrylics, layered vintage papers and encaustic wax.

The hand-blown glass cube works by Joseph McDonnell are spectacular. Light is captured and refracted through each cube in an infinitely changing collage of color. Remarkably, Joe’s work is customizable for the individual collector. Joseph will also be showcasing a retrospective of 50 years of his bronze sculpture and steel wall reliefs.

Richard Erdman creates abstract sculptures that have a vitality, energy and flow defying the material from which it is formed. They simultaneously convey power, passion and elegance.
We look forward to your joining us for this showing of new work by these renowned artists.

We are located at 73-040 El Paseo (on the corner of HWY 74) in Palm Desert. We also invite you to visit our website atwww.melissamorganfineart.com.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Dorothy you actually believe criminals can't get guns without a background check. Wow are youRead More naive. Just because YOU don't understand why some people want a particular weapon...does not mean you can impose your ownership standards on someone else. Suppose I suggest you don't need the particular car you drive or the particlar beverage you drink? I see you are opposed to hunting. How do you feel about abortion? Typical liberal double standard at play here??

Totally agree. This is just the beginning of a gun grab. All it will accomplish is furtherRead More restrictions on law abiding citizens. Chicago is a perfect example. Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
