Join a community of learners at UCR's Osher Lifelong Learning program. It is an educational program for lifelong learners, 50 years and older. There are no tests, grades-the only requirement is a love of learning. Learning takes place in a peer environment with learners whose common bonds are intellectual curiosity and the experience of their generation. Osher courses offer a series of multiple classroom meetings held during the day, Monday-Friday, organized around a variety of intellectually stimulating topics and led by professors from UCR and other universities and colleges. Most classes run for approximately 2 hours. For information on becoming a member, contact the Osher office at 9511-827-4105 or visit our website at www.extension.ucr.edu/osher.
There is still lots of time to sign up for Winter classes. Spring classes will begin in April. Classes meet at the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at 39-000 Bob Hope Drive, Rancho Mirage.
