Fifth Annual Art Bowman Memorial Golf Tournament Benefiting the Arnold Palmer Prostate Cancer Center

The Oasis Country Club presents the Fifth Annual Art Bowman Memorial Golf Tournament, Friday March 7, 2014.

The 4-person shamble format begins at 8 a.m. with a shotgun start. The day’s activities include a variety of contests including closest to the pin and the longest drive. Prize money is offered for the first three winning teams. The tournament will be followed by lunch, a raffle and silent auction.

Event proceeds benefit the Arnold Palmer Prostate Cancer Center at Eisenhower Lucy Curci Cancer Center.  All funds stay within the Coachella Valley and are used to assist the Cancer Center’s support and outreach programs.

The tournament is held in memoriam of Art Bowman, a well-respected original homeowner at The Oasis Country Club and co-founder of the Men’s Golf Club. Bowman suffered from prostate cancer, but enjoyed two years of his namesake tournament prior to his passing.
