PALM SPRINGS INTERNATIONAL FILM SOCIETY PRESENTS “ONE WORLD” SHORT FILM PROGRAM TO SAN BERNARDINO AND RIVERSIDE COUNTIES

The Palm Springs International Film Society (PSIFS)
is proud to present “One World,” an entertaining and engaging program
of multi-cultural short films from around the world.  “One
World
” is supported by a grant from The James Irvine Foundation and is
intended to promote cross-cultural dialogue and understanding while engaging
the diverse populations of the San Bernardino and Riverside Counties in the
cinematic arts.  Held throughout the
month of October, each of these free presentations will be followed by a lively
guided discussion about the films, how they reflect shared experiences, and
their transformative power.

“The “One
World” program addresses the Film Society’s ongoing commitment to provide
cultural opportunities and access to diverse film programming in communities outside
of the Coachella Valley,” said Executive Director Darryl Macdonald.  “We’re very grateful to The James Irvine
Foundation for giving us the opportunity to create this program and share it
with disparate audiences in other regional communities.”
