The fear of being a gay freshman

The fears and hopes of a teenage girl about to start high school.

Hello my name is Faith and I'm what you call a "normal" kid, I guess. I don't do anything special like play sports or get the best grades. I am a "going with the flow" kind of girl.

I am going to be a freshman at a valley high school this year so, I guess I should be scared of a new big school and meeting new people. The only thing I fear is being a gay freshman.

Kids my age are very harsh to gays or lesbians. So I can honestly say I'm scared to death of high school. Luckily, I have the choice to hide being gay.

Myself and my family, family being my mom, dad, brother, and sister, joke around by saying the songs "I kissed a girl and I liked it" or "I'm coming out" are my theme songs.

I have a very weird sense of humor. I'm a total tomboy. I have a little bit of a temper, and I'm a total animal lover. If I could, I would love to take all the poor abused animals from the shelter, the streets, and from anyone who may not want them. I have had three dogs, the first was a mastiff mix, then it was a cocker spaniel, and last but not least a Pit Bull.

He was the only dog of mine that past away, but he knows he changed me. So that’s a little bit of me. I hope that you continue to read my blogs. I will mostly be posting my poetry on here and my daily life of teenage girl.
