LifeStream, the Desert's Blood Bank, invites all healthy residents to give the gift of life Saturday, Dec. 17 from noon to 4 p.m. at R&B Studios, 72650 Fred Waring Drive, Palm Desert.
Donors may enter to win a 16GB Wi-Fi only iPad, and receive Gift of Life Donor Loyalty points that may be redeemed in the online donor store at www.LStream.org. College students may enter to win $2,500 toward second semester tuition.

Donors must be at least 15 years of age (15- and 16-year-olds require a signed parental consent form; the form is available at community drives and www.LStream.org), be in general good health, and weigh a minimum of 110 pounds.
Donors should eat a healthy meal shortly before donating and increase their intake of decaffeinated fluids in the 24 hours prior to donation.
