Lights For Little Lives Walk

Of all the lights shining on New Year's Eve, none is brighter than the light honoring children who have died. The nonprofit Unforgettable Foundation, founded a dozen years ago by Tim Evans, helps families who have lost a child pay for burial expenses. Since then, there has been a New Year’s Eve “Lights for Little Lives” walk in remembrance of those children in Loma Linda every year.

This Saturday, for the 3rd year, a simultaneous “Lights for Little Lives” walk will take place on New Year’s Eve in Palm Desert. The Walk will begin at 3:30 at Palm Desert Civic Center and end at Sacred Heart Church, where Unforgettables will light candles and release doves in honor of all children who have died. Each walk will end with blessings given by a priest, deacon, pastor and rabbi. The event is free and open to the entire community. Information: 951-680-9996 or evans8823@roadrunner.com (Tim Evans).
