Warren Camp to spend 4 months in prison and pay fine

Palm Desert attorney Warren David Camp, 47,  has been sentenced to four months in prison and fined $10,000 for making false statements to obtain a U.S. Passport.   The sentence was handed down Monday in U.S. District Court.

The State Bar indicates Camp has been practicing family law since 1991.
No prior disciplinary action was mentioned in his online profile. His office
telephone has been disconnected

Camp, 47, will have to turn himself in by August 30th to begin his sentence. He reamins free on $50,000 bond.

It is really absurd of a law officer whose job is solely to uphold justice, takes advantage of his knowledge and skills about the law, for his own personal gains. People from all walks of life often hire an attorney due to the trust we all have in them, but to learn of this crime, has made us aware that we should be wary of people even those who are law-abiding officers.

This guy must have got his law degree off the back of a box of Cracker Jacks. What a dunce! I wonder how much business he'll get after this...
