'Passionately Pink Fashion Show' Gears Up

The fashion show, to benefit the Susan G. Komen Inland Empire, is ready for Saturday

As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the "Passionately Pink Fashion Show" will take place on Saturday in Indian Wells.

The show is a benefit for the Susan G. Komen Inland Empire chapter, and takes place at the Renaissance Esmeralda Resort. 

The show is from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. will be hosted by Caroldean Ross of Resale Therapy and Maily O'Neil from El Paseo's Mai Salon.

 "This will be the ultimate fashion experience showcasing some of the finest designer apparel and hair-artistry in the desert, plus silent auction and tasty hors d'oeuvres," said event organizer Darcy Bowman Rose.

Models include local breast cancer survivors,  and local radio and television personalities, such as Angela Monroe, Adriana Weingold, Talia Hayden, Valerie Katz, Joey English and others.

A special guest appearance will be made by cancer survivor Patricia Welch. The braodway vocalist will share her hope with her music during the fashion show finale.

Tickets are $30 for pre-show sales and $40 at the door based on space availability.
