Wendy Formica Named President of Local Realtors

12-year-desert resident to lead California Desert Association of Realtors

Wendy Formica, an accomplished and high profile Realtor with Keller Williams Realty, has been named 2013 president of the California Desert Association of Realtors.

"I am truly excited about 2013 for our Association, our members and the communities they serve," said Formica, a real estate professional and corporate relocation expert for 35 years.

"We are encouraged by increased sales this summer, continued low interest rates and short sales are becoming somewhat easier to facilitate for the homeowners," she said.

After moving to the desert from the south Orange County area 12 years ago, Formica became involved with California Desert Association of Realtors and Women’s Council of Realtors . In addition to the incoming president for California Desert Association of Realtors, she also is a director for the state wide California Association of Realtors and 2012 WCR State Governor.

Formica will be installed In January with other new CDAR officers.

Other new officers and directors are: 2013 President-elect Sharon Rogers of Windermere Real Estate; Treasurer Maureen Byrne, HK Lane Real Estate and immediate past president Marnie Balog, Keller Williams. Newly elected directors Richard Chamberlin, Coldwell Banker Residential; Stacey Grande, Windermere; Cathi Walter, Windermere; and Susan Winters-McIntosh, Windermere, join returning directors Diane Busch, Coldwell Banker Residential, Beverly Fitzgerald, Tarbell Realtors, TG Gallaudet HK Lane Real Estate and Patti Rollins, Coldwell Banker Residential.

The California Desert Association of Realtors, represents more than 3,200 estate professionals from Palm Springs to Coachella.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
