Two nights ago I saw on TV a Coachella Valley "Occupier" talking about blocking businesses and camping out somewhere (I don't remember where). She said, "It's our right to free speech." At some point aren't my rights being violated if I can't get into a business or travel freely where I want to? Several months ago I blogged somewhere and asked if what happened in Greece could happen here. At the time I was really curious and didn't know. Now I think the answer is yes. At the same time I want to thank the Coachella occupiers for their courtesy and not attracting what looks to me like idiots. I sympathize with the ones that have coherent views while wishing they'd camp in front of the politicians that let this happen.
