Mark Orozco More Effective On Crime

Mark Orozco works with Riverside County DA and Local Police Chiefs.

Mark Orozco, candidate for the open 42nd Assembly District, has a track record of cooperation with law enforcement. Concerned about the safety of District citizens, Mark has set aside partisan politics and instead focuses on solving the very real problems that face voters.

With this focus on citizenship, Mark Orozco has forged successful connections with leaders from all political persuasions, such as numerous Cheifs of Police and Riverside County DA Paul Zellerbach, allowing Mark to better utilize the the resources available to the district. By bringing more of the tax dollars we already pay, back into our district to work for us, Mark’s approach will allow the us to develop strategies for a safer future without the need for increased revenue.

This approach is made possible by Mark’s ability to reach across the political aisle and work with all our elected leaders. As our next Assemblyman, Mark will take his focus on the issues to the legislative floor in Sacramento where he will be a breath of fresh air in a broken system.

Mark Orozco is running to represent the newly-drawn 42nd Assembly District. The 42nd District includes San Bernardino County; 29 Palms, Morongo Valley, Yucaipa, Yucca Valley, Landers, Joshua Tree, and Pioneertown, as well as Riverside County; Beaumont, Banning, Cherry Valley, Cabazon, Calimesa, San Jacinto, Hemet, White Water, Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indian Wells, La Quinta, and Rancho Mirage.

Yeah, Steve, you just go out of your way to get along with everyone, eh? Kinda like your attack (above) on Chris just a few posts earlier? Careful, Steve, your hypocrisy is showing. My "diatribe" is all facts. But rather than debate those facts, you insult me. At least you're consistent. BTW, respect is earned. Just something to think about the next time you attack someone for their opinions. I'll bow out now, since this conversation will obviously go nowhere positive. See you at the polls!

Thank you for your thoughts and comments. Its great to see community participation in the electoral process. We are all fortunate to live in a Nation that does not criminalize critiques of our former leaders. It is too bad that the political season brings with it so much negative baggage. However, pointing out the failures on an incumbent's record is fair game during a competitive race. The Orozco campaign hopes that each reader will take the time to do their own investigation of the underlying facts. Brian Nestande's voting record: http://votesmart.org/candidate/key-votes/104422/brian-nestande#.UJhPmm_LSac. Brian Nestande's campaign contributions: http://maplight.org/california/legislator/1326-brian-nestande. Anyone who doubts the Orozco campaign's presentations of Nestande's term in the State Assembly should consult the sources above for verification. Mark's own record is equally clear. The campaign would like to thank the Howard Jarvis Taxpayer's association and the Inland Empire Taxpayers' Association for their efforts to protect voters and restore California to a position of economic strength. In fact, the Howard Jarvis Taxpayers' Association endorsed Mark Orozco during his 2008 school-board race because of Mark's active position against local tax initiatives such as Measure Z and the 2010 Measure U; both of which were not right for taxpayers in the San Gorgonio region. Thank you to everyone for working to keep this discussion civil and fact based.

Readers should just compare my initial post--which contained a video that even the person at whom it was aimed found amusing--and Gary's hateful rants, including lies and personal insults about me and others who don't share his extremist views. If Gary has, hopefully, bowed out of this conversation, it will most certainly go in a more positive direction. My final message: YOU CAN DISAGREE WITH SOMEONE WITHOUT HATING HIM OR INSULTING HIM.

Your initial post...you mean the one with the 3 paragraphs of personal insults against Mr. Mann, accusing him of slander against Beaumont & Banning among other things? But that's not a hateful rant? No lies? No personal insults? Interesting how you continue to ignore your own hatred, lies, and insults while accusing me of the same. Of course, your idea of "a more positive direction" is for everyone to agree with you. Sorry, Steve, the real world doesn't work that way. Re: your "final message": Perhaps you should practice what you preach for a change. Your very words expose the real you. I think most would agree that the term "extremist" fits you to a "T".

I for one am grateful that Mr. Orozco is no longer a BUSD board member, and won't be a State Assemblyman either. Now he won't represent anyone, especially my kids and I. Or speak for us. Amazing how it wasn't until the last 18 months - maybe if that much - of his BUSD board member 'tenure' that he started questioning how things were actually being done within Beaumont Unified. And to think he actually tried to claim that I see things half full. Nice try, Mr. Orozco. I have been in BUSD since I was 12 years old, and I am in my mid 40's now, my eldest child graduated from BHS in 2007, and my youngest will graduate in 2015. And those events will have absolutely nothing to do with your obvious lack of leadership. It's because they put in the effort, have strong work ethics, strong support system, and me showing them how to get it done. Stick to teaching in Pomona Unified, Mr. Orozco. Please don't run again for BUSD board. You've already done enough damage here by not questioning things in the beginning and going along with Barry Kayrell, Mays Kakish and Wael Elatar. Buh bye.
