LA Angels Have New Radio Home in the Valley

The LA Angels have a new look and a new radio home in the Coachella Valley.

The Los Angels Angels of Anaheim had a huge off-season landing two of the biggest free agents: first baseman Albert Pujols and pitcher C.J Wilson.

Now, Angels fans in the Coachella Valley can listen to all the games all 162 regular season games plus what fans hope will be a long playoff run on KXPS 1010 AM with the help of sister station Money Radio 1200.

Coverage begins opening day April 6 with a 7:05 p.m. first pitch as the Kansas City Royals visit the Angels.

"Art Moreno has proven he is dedicated to bringing a quality sports product to Southern California," Team 1010 Program Director Brian Jewett said in a news release. "Something we can relate to as we continue to localize the Coachella Valley's only all sports station."

In addition to the game broadcast, there will be an increased Angels presence on the new station's web site www.team1010.com and with special shows and features as the season progresses.
