Palm Desert Pet of the Week: Meet Princess

Palm Desert Patch is pleased to share this week's "pet of the week" from the Riverside County Department of Animal Services' Coachella Valley Animal Campus.

Department Spokesman John Welsh says the 5-year-old medium-haired Dil Calico cat is in need of her "forever home."

"She is very sweet, calm, and gentle," Welsh said of the feline.  "She loves to sit up high."

"Princess is a lovely girl and she would be so happy to have a home to call her own," he said.

Princess can be taken home for an adoption fee of $15, which includes her spay surgery, vaccinations and a microchip.   Her animal ID number is A0819510

She can be visited at the Coachella Valley Animal Campus, 72-050 Pet Land Place in Thousand Palms, on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and on Thursdays from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
