A 27-year-old Palm Desert man was arrested for alleged DUI after the vehicle he was driving early Tuesday crashed into a parked vehicle, pushing it into another parked vehicle, authorities said.

The crash --  reported about 2:10 a.m. -- happened in the 44-800 block of San Clemente Circle in Palm Desert, when a driver slammed into the first car.

"As a result of the impact, the parked vehicle was shifted into another parked vehicle causing significant damage to all vehicles involved," sheriff's Sgt. Andy Martinez said.

The suspect, identified as Michael Morales, was not hurt, Martinez said.

Morales was arrested at the scene and booked at the county jail in Indio, authorities said. He later posted a $5,000 bond, according to jail records.

Leaving the Red Barn or TJ's at 2 am is no fun. They bomb your backside all night then send you home.....unless you are a VIP at TJ's where you can drink til 5 am......
