AMBER ALERT: Authorities Seek Baby Boy, Father

Law enforcement agencies and motorists across Southern California were alerted Wednesday to look out for a man suspected of abducting his 1-month-old son in Northern California and believed to be in San Diego overnight.

The CHP distributed an Amber Alert early Nov. 6 that stated:

The Emergency Notification and Tactical Alert Center is assisting the Sunnyvale Police Department with a statewide Amber Alert activation.

On Nov. 5, 2013, at 4:14 a.m., Henry Guler-Romero was abducted from Sunnyvale/Santa Clara/CA.

Henry Guler-Romero  is a 1 month old Hispanic male, height unknown, weight unknown juvenile, black hair and brown eyes, with an unknown clothing description.

Suspect is Mesut Guler, a 22 year old, Turkish male, 6 feet tall, 120 pounds, with brown hair, brown eyes, with an unknown clothing description.

The suspect was last seen driving a tan 2004 GMC Envoy, with a CA license plate of 6HIL892. The vehicle has a large American eagle on rear window. If seen contact Sunnyvale Police Department at (408) 730-7110.

The suspect's cellphone was "pinged" on Interstate 805 between Balboa Avenue and state Route 163 at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, according to California Highway Patrol Officer Robert Catano.

Anyone who sees the vehicle were asked to call 911 immediately.
