Police: Palm Desert Felon Caught With Stolen Goods, Loaded Gun

Christopher German was arrested on suspicion of possession of stolen property, being a convicted felon in possession of a loaded firearm and committing a felony while on bail.

A Palm Desert man suspected of committing a home burglary was arrested Wednesday, authorities said.

Christopher Jesus German, 29, was arrested on suspicion of receiving stolen property, drug possession, being a convicted felon in possession of a loaded firearm and committing a felony while on bail, Riverside Sheriff's Sergeant Brad Farwell said.

He was booked into the Riverside County Jail, records show.

German remained behind bars in lieu of $15,000 bail, pending arraignment Friday, sheriff's jail records indicate.

Deputies serving a search warrant in the 73400 block of Santa Rosa Way about 1:30 p.m. reportedly found property stolen the day before, according to Farwell.

Let's hope he stays behind bars. This low-life felon is precisely why we law-abiding citizens must retain our 2nd Amendment right to bear arms. Due to the economy, in part, there is, and will be, an ever-increasing number of home invasions. We must be legally able to protect ourselves. Thankfully, no one was injured or killed this time.
