Foul play is not suspected at this time.

Rancho Mirage police were investigating the death of an inmate who was on electronic home confinement, according to a sergeant.

Police responded just before noon Tuesday to a home in the 42000 block of Ocotillo Drive after a client had failed to report, said Rancho Mirage Sgt. Andy Martinez.
