BREAKING: Two Injured on Bump and Grind

Authorities helped rescue a man and a woman who were hiking on the popular trail.

Two people suffered minor injuries today while hiking on the Bump and Grind Trail in Palm Desert, and rescue crews worked to bring the pair to safety.

The injuries were reported around noon on the popular hiking trail, and firefighters set up a command post at Fred Waring Drive and Painter's Path, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Jody Hagemann said. The exact nature of the injuries suffered by the hikers, a man and a woman, was unclear.

Firefighters were expected to be at the scene until about 2:30 p.m., Hagemann said.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
