Christmas Morning Wreck Claims Coachella Man's LIfe

The crash on Highway 111, at Indio Boulevard, was reported at 1:46 a.m., coroner investigators stated.

A 27-year-old Coachella man died Christmas Day in a high-speed crash in Indio, authorities said.

Manuel Diaz was freed from the wreck and pronounced dead at Indio’s John F. Kennedy Memorial Hospital, according to the Riverside County Coroner’s office.

The crash on Highway 111, at Indio Boulevard, was reported at 1:46 a.m., coroner investigators stated.

The two-vehicle crash -- involving Diaz's SUV -- also seriously injured four people, according to Cal Fire/Riverside County fire.

They were all taken to area hospitals, fire officials said.

Diaz was not thrown from the SUV when it struck another vehicle at the intersection, authorities said.

The crash was under investigation.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
