A woman suffered serious injuries in a crash on the Interstate 10 near Indio Sunday, requiring extrication from her vehicle and an airlift to a trauma center.
The single-vehicle crash was reported about 12:15 p.m. on the eastbound side, east of Frontage Road, according to Cal Fire.
Her vehicle overturned, fire officials said.
