A Thermal housekeeper was arrested for allegedly stealing her employer's ATM cards and using them to make purchases at numerous locations, a sheriff's sergeant said Wednesday.
A theft was reported on April 18 at a residence in the 100 block of Chalaka Place in Palm Desert, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Larry Sherman.
"After the theft, the victim's ATM cards were used at numerous locations throughout the Coachella Valley. Deputies conducted follow-up investigation and determined the housekeeper employed by the victim was the suspect," Sherman said.
