DUI Checkpoint Set In Neighboring City
The Rancho Mirage Police Department will be conducting a DUI/driver's license checkpoint on Friday, Jan. 20 from 8 p.m. to 3 a.m.
Rancho Mirage police will hold a driving under the influence and driver's license checkpoint this Friday in Rancho Mirage.
The checkpoint is set from 8 p.m. Jan. 20 to 3 a.m. Jan. 21, according to Sgt. Dave Adams.
The checkpoint's location was not released. The operation is aimed to reduce the number of persons killed and injured in alcohol-related crashes, Adams said.

All of the vehicles that pass through the checkpoint may be checked and drivers who are under the influence of alcohol and/or drugs will be arrested, he said.
