A Palm Desert man was arrested Wednesday, accused of sexually assaulting one of his 4th grade students at an Indian Wells school, according to investigators.
Robert Keith Bryan, 59, was arrested at his home without incident.
The arrest comes after and investigation into allegations of sexual assault on a fourth grade female student at Gerald Ford Elementary School. According to Deputy Albert Martinez, the investigation also revealed a number of additional victims. It was unspecified if the other victims were also students at the school.
Bryan was booked in Indio jail and charged with four counts of lewd acts with a minor, and seven counts of annoying or molesting a child. He was released after posting $220,000 bond.
