Two adults and two children were displaced in a Palm Desert fire New Year’s Eve but no injuries were reported and Red Cross was not needed.
The fire in the fourplex building in the 78500 block of Avenue 42 was reported at 12:10 a.m. Monday, according to fire officials.
It took some 20 firefighters about 25 minutes to contain the blaze, which originated in the attic, officials said.
The cause of the blaze was under investigation.
