Fire Near Desert Hot Springs Displaces Family

Two adults and two children were displaced when a fire damaged their residence in an unincorporated area of Desert Hot Springs late Friday.

The blaze was reported shortly after 5 p.m. in the 15500 block of Avenida Atezada and was extinguished about 5:25 p.m. 

The fire also burned debris outside the house, Riverside County Fire Department spokeswoman Melody Hendrickson said.
