A non-injury fire that started outside a commercial building Saturday in the city of Indio spread to the wall but was then quickly put out by firefighters, officials said.
The fire in the 83100 block of Highway 111 was reported at 7:47 p.m. Friday, according to Cal Fire’s Melody Hendrickson.
It took 24 firefighters about 30 minutes to contain but some remained on scene to ensure hotspots were extinguished, Hendrickson said.
