A Las Vegas man bailed out of jail Friday, after being arrested a night earlier on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and crashing, police and jail records indicated.
43-year-old Robert Paul Braner III was arrested Thursday night following a crash on Painters Path, just east of Fred Waring Drive, according to sheriff's sergeant David Wright.
Deputies had responded to the scene, to perform an "occupied vehicle check" of a disabled white 2008 Toyota Scion, Wright said.
"The investigation revealed that the driver swerved off the roadway and hit the curb, which caused the vehicle damage," he said, adding that there was a ruptured right front tire with a bent rim.
Wright said investigators believe the man had been drinking alcohol prior to the crash.
No other vehicles were involved, and no injuries were reported.
