Local Police Set To Train At PDHS

Neighbors should expect loud noises, according to police.

Palm Springs and Cathedral City police were expected to train Wednesday at Palm Desert High School, where the old campus is being demolished to make way for new buildings.

The training is set to begin at noon and end about 10 p.m., according to Palm Springs police Officer Rhonda Long.

"Some loud noises may be heard, which will be associated with the training exercise,'' Long said.
