Man in Jaguar Arrested Following Alleged DUI Crash

David Doland was driving a Jaguar sedan south of Highway 74 when his car rear-ended another vehicle at Shadow Mountain Drive.

Sheriff's deputies Sunday night arrested a 66-year-old Palm Desert man who got involved in a crash while allegedly driving drunk.

David Doland was driving a Jaguar sedan south on Highway 74 when his car rear-ended another vehicle at Shadow Mountain Drive, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Patrick Carroll wrote in a news release.

Neither driver suffered injuries in the crash but investigation determined that the suspect was under the influence of alcohol, Carroll wrote.

Doland was detained, taken to a hospital for a pre-existing medical condition and ticketed, the sergeant said.

I…Read More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Totally agree. This is just the beginning of a gun grab. All it will accomplish is further…Read More restrictions on law abiding citizens. Chicago is a perfect example. Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
