Man Robs CVS Pharmacy on Washington, Deputies Seek Suspect

A man robbed the CVS Pharmacy on Washington Street Thursday morning in Palm Desert and deputies were looking for the suspect, according to the Sheriff's Department.

The robbery was reported at 11:14 a.m. Sept. 12 at the CVS Pharmacy in the 42000 block of Washington, Deputy Julio Oseguera of the sheriff's Palm Desert Station said in a statement.

"An adult male entered CVS Pharmacy and walked to the pharmacy counter," Oseguero said. "He simulated a gun underneath his t-shirt and took an undisclosed amount of store items."

The man fled on foot in an unknown direction. Deputies  searched the area for the suspect but he was not located.

The man was described as a Caucasian male adult in his 30s, wearing a black baseball cap, black sunglasses, a black t-shirt, and blue jeans, Oseguero said.

Anyone with more info was urged to call Investigator Burgie at the Palm Desert Station, (760) 836-1600 or Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-STOP. Tips can be made anonymously and they may lead to a cash reward, Oseguero said.
