Man Suspected of Hitting 2 Vehicles, Pedestrian, With Lexus

Cesar Gurrola, 28, of Cathedral City, was the driver of the Lexus and the only one injured in the three crashes that occurred Saturday.

Sheriff's investigators are probing three crashes in Rancho Mirage Saturday, all three possibly involving the same car and driver.

Deputies were called about noon Saturday to Dinah Shore Drive, near Bob Hope Drive, in Rancho Mirage, Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. David Wright wrote in a news release.

Investigators learned that a 1992, white Lexus had rearended a vehicle on the eastbound Dinah Shore as it approached Da Vall Drive, according to Wright.

The suspect continued on Dinah Shore, then allegedly rearended another vehicle near Bob Hope Drive, the sergeant wrote.

Traffic investigators searching the Lexus found evidence leading them to believe the Lexus had been involved in an earlier crash involving a pedestrian, the sergeant reported.

The suspect -- identified as Cesar Gurrola, 28, of Cathedral City -- is expected to recover, and anyone with information on any of the crashes involving a white Lexus sedan was asked to call sheriff's Rancho Mirage investigators at 760-836-1600.

No one else was injured in the crashes, authorities said.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.
