Man Who Nearly Crashes into Bank Suspected of DUI

The 37-year-old Coachella man was arrested after his vehicle veered out of control and nearly crashed into a bank, officials said.

A 37-year-old Coachella man was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after his vehicle veered out of control and nearly crashed into a bank.

Javier Sanchez was arrested early Monday morning. Palm Desert Police were called out at 1:29 a.m. to the intersection of Highway 111 and Town Center Way on a report of a single vehicle crash, police said.

Investigators said Sanchez’ tan Toyota Tundra was headed east Highway 111 approaching the intersection at Town Center Way when he lost control of the vehicle, drove over the raised center median and into oncoming traffic. The vehicle continued striking a curb and coming to a stop on the lawn in front of One West Bank, officials said.

Sanchez was not seriously injured. He was booked into county jail in the city of Indio.

The investigation is ongoing and officers ask anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact the Palm Desert Police Department at (760) 836-1600 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at (760) 341-7867.

You';re welcome, Renee but I don't really expect thanks for my contributions to the classroom. IRead More wasn't going to stand by and see kids not have the basic things they needed to get through the class and most teachers are of the same mind :) Sadly, school budgets have never covered all the needs in classrooms.

Strictest gun control in the nation and highest gun crime and murder rate. Criminals do not comply with the law. Only legal citizens will lose their rights to own the weapon of their choice. Liberals are all about choice when it comes to killing an unborn, but when it comes to a lawful gunowner's choice it's a different story altogether.
