Man's Acquaintance Burglarizes His Rancho Mirage Home, Police Say

A Tustin man is accused of breaking into a man's home in Rancho Mirage and making off with some of his belongings, sheriff's officials report.

45-year-old Joseph Fleischaker is accused of burglarizing a house in the 100 block of Porto Cielo on March 24, according to Riverside County sheriff's Sgt. Aaron Eller.

According to Eller, Fleischaker knows the homeowner.

Following their investigation, police tracked the man to his Tustin home and served a search warrant there on Tuesday, "...where the stolen property was recovered," Eller said.

Fleischaker was arrested and booked on burglary charges, according to the sergeant.
